A man and his wife were attending a bible study when this assault then murder took place.  March 21,2023

Corrina Woodhull, 41 and Robert Castillo, 40.

A married couple attending a Bible study in the victim’s sister home, apparently had an altercation that led to murder. Ms. Woodhull was murdered moments after Mr. Castillo whispered something in her ear. Ms. Woodhull shook her head No in response. Mr. Castillo responded by stabbing Ms. Woodhull repeatedly until his family restrained him. It was too late. Ms. succumbed to her injuries.

When I read this story, I wondered what was so insulting or infuriating that would cause such a violent response? I can’t even

Imagine the intensity of anger in that room during this gathering.

A gathering of relatives in a home to discuss the Bible and then

a complete living act of hatred becomes alive right before their   eyes!

How Horrific! How tragic!

I send many, many condolences to the family of Ms. Woodhull,

especially her children. May God be with you all.

I wanted to address this story under Abominable because this life

was taken under abominable circumstances. No reason!

A life was removed from the present and taken to the eternal realm

forever. It left a deep void in the lives of those who loved her.

She left behind five children aged 11-24.

I can’t even imagine what Ms. Woodhull said to Mr. Castillo to make him react in such a gruesome manner. There is another story here that I just can’t find. I researched and researched but there was nothing else mentioned other than the facts.

The other facts of this case are Mr. Castillo does have a violent past in which he assaulted two correctional officers in 2020. In 2014, he assaulted another woman with a hammer.

I don’t know if Ms. Woodhull knew of his violent past, but it’s evident

That Mr. Castillo has no respect for women or human life. Thats the other reason I labeled this story Abominable. Nowadays, Life is taken so casually, so defiantly and violently. I feel my existence is

Entirely dependent on God’s allowance and nothing else.

He allows me to wake up each day with purpose, goals and daily intent to get through the day. I know that we never expect our lives to be taken by another human being, let alone die the day it happens.

The hands of the enemy are beyond busy and uses any and every opportunity to wipe an existence from our realm. Apparently, he chose Bible study this particular day.

The enemy used Mr. Castillo to accomplish the following.

  • Take two lives
  • Discredit a Bible study
  • Disperse a family gathering
  • Embarrass these Christians publicly
  • Place himself above God (as usual)
  • Place fear in the hearts of the vulnerable
  • Remove the protection in a God-fearing home
  • Forced the gathering to retaliate
  • Dilute the safety of God’s word
  • Acclaim a mental stance for the reckoning (dismissive)

I mean I could go on and on, on about this disregard for human life

Taken and the disrespect for the Christians involved.

I challenge my readers to always look at the stories they read or hear and seek God’s word. Ask Him to explain certain things to them.

Apparently, the enemy won this battle by taking lives, which is always his ultimate goal. Even though Mr. Castillo received 33 years for this crime, he altered everyone’s life involved forever.

“The enemy may have won this battle, but he will not win the War.”

“But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.” Luke 21:9 nkjv
